Hydrological Monitoring of Xekong 4A&4B Hydropower Project
XK4A & 4B HPP project are located on the Xekong River in Lamam District and Kaleum District at Xekong Province of Southern Lao PDR Apart from monitoring the two hydromet stations on a monthly basis, the team also performing the discharge measurement and upgrade the stations and its staff gauges throughout the monitoring period.

The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc
KANSAI is considering a few hydropower projects that utilize the abundant water resources of the Xekong River. This is a hydrological investigation on the Xekong River due to obtain hydrological information, which is one of the most important elements of project evaluation.

Weather Station - Wind vane, Wind Direction, Rain Gauge, Temp and Humidity Sensor, and the Solar Radiation Sensor

EDF power solutions Laos Sole Co., Ltd
Supply, installation and commissioning of weather and water level stations - EDF) is performing a feasibility study into a proposed Pump Hydro plant in the vicinity of its current Nam Theun II reservoir area, part of the study requires several weather and river level stations.

Nam Theun 1 Power Company

Development of the Nam Theun 1 Hydro Gauging Stations in 2026 includes surveying, and installing three hydrology gauging station is to improve hydrological data for supporting energy planning and flood forecast for early warning communication to villagers for preparing evacuation to safe zone (Emergency Action Plan Requirement) and improvement of flood mitigation procedure for protection of project facilities.

Lao Consulting Group Limited - Global Green Growth Institution
Establish Various Bore and Surface Monitoring Locations in Wetland Close to Vientiane, Laos - Water Surface Monitoring Station -A suitable location within the wetlands area was sought where a small body of water appeared to remain all year round to enable a water level sensor to be installed and maintained with relatively easy access to the site any time of the year.

Nam Theun 1 Power Company
Construction of staff gauges at 8 villages along downstream Kading river - to identify flood level in case of flooding in the area and is to notify and warning communicate to villagers for preparing evacuation to safe zone (Emergency Action Plan requirement as DESM comment at least one staff gauge for a village).

Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CSE)
Installation 2 Hydrological Gauging Station of Xe Nam Noy 1 Power Sole Co., Ltd 1.XNN1 Upstream hydrological station 2.XNN2 Downstream hydrological station -Installation Rain Gauge measurement XNN1 Upstream -Installation Radar Water level for 2 hydrological stations -Modify fence for protection hydrological (XNN1 Upstream and XNN1 Downstream) •Installation staff gauges, benchmark and cross-section 2 stations (XNN1 Upstream and XNN1 Downstream) •Configuration all sensors and auto transfer data of 2 hydrological stations to CSE sever •Gauging measurement during installation one time at (1) XNN1 Upstream hydrological station and (2) XNN1 Downstream hydrological station

Chaleun Sekong Energy Company Limited (CSE)
Hydrological Gauging Station Installation for Nam Phak Hydro Power Project 1.Makko weir hydrological station. 2.Sakala 6 weir hydrological station. -Installation rain gauge measurement 2 stations -Installation piezometer water level for 2 stations. -Installation power supply, lightning and surge protection. •Configuration all sensors and auto transfer data of 2 hydrological stations to CSE sever.

Cross Section Survey for Xekong River of
Xekong 4A&4B Hydropower Project
Conducting a detailed river cross-section surveys at four (4) designated locations to support hydraulic modelling, improve model resolution, and reduce uncertainty in flow simulation.
